• Al-Ulum

    Al-Ulum (P- ISSN 1412-0534 and E-ISSN 2442-8213)  is a biannual peer-reviewed  journal published in June and December by Lembaga Penelitian & Pengabdian kepada Masyarakat (LP2M) of the Institut Agama Islam Negeri (IAIN) Sultan Amai, Gorontalo - Indonesia.

    Al-Ulum focuses on Islamic Studies in broad context with regards but not limited to education, jurisprudence, philosophy and thought, economics,  politics, and local wisdom.

    The language used in this journal are Indonesian, English and Arabic.

    Al-Ulum  is an open access journal which means that all content is freely available without charge to the user or his/her institution. Users can read, download, copy, distribute, print, search, or link to the full texts of the articles, or use them for any other lawful purpose, without asking prior permission from the publisher or the author. This is in accordance with the BOAI (Budapest Open Access Initiative) definition of open access.

    With the Decree of the Director General of Higher Education No. 53/DIKTI/Kep/2013 for 2013–2018, Al-Ulum received its first accreditation in print from the Ministry of National Education. After that, Al-Ulum acquired a Sinta 2 level for 2018–2022, serving as its official online accreditation. Al-Ulum has recently received authorised online accreditation from the Ministry of Research and Higher Education of the Republic of Indonesia with a Sinta 2 level for 2022–2026 with Decree No. 225/E/KPT/2022.

  • Proceeding of Annual International Conference on Islamic Education

    1st Annual Iinternational Conference on Islamic Education (AICONIE 2023) is first an annual international conference held by Islamic Religious Education Department, Faculty of Tarbiyah and Teacher Training,

    IAIN Sultan Amai Gorontalo. that will take place by Hybrid format (at kampus 1, IAIN Sultan Amai Gorontalo and zoom meeting ) on November 14th 2023 in Gorontalo, Indonesia.

    1st AICONIE 2023 is intended to provide a forum for lecturers, professionals, researchers, and students to collaborate, explore opportunities, and exchange valuable insights to discover methods and platfomrs for learning in the digital era. Study focused on Islamic Education are welcome. The submitted papers must meet the criteria including originality, novelty, not yet published, and must be written in English.

    The conference program will feature main speakers, invitees, and oral sessions. To increase dissemination and visibility of research findings, accepted papers will be published in ISBN National Proceeding.

  • Al-Lisan: Jurnal Bahasa (e-Journal)

    Al-Lisan: Jurnal Bahasa (e-Journal) focuses on the publication of research-based and conceptual articles within the fields of English and Arabic Education, Linguistics, and Literature. It welcomes contributions from researchers, academicians, students, professionals, and practitioners worldwide. The journal covers topics such as English and Arabic language teaching and learning, language testing and assessment, instructional materials, curriculum design, Information and Communication Technology in language education, applied linguistics, language acquisition, discourse analysis, and translation studies. The Journal has already registered numbers ISSN 2442-8965 (print) and ISSN 2442-8973 (online).

  • Al-Mizan (e-Journal)

    Al-Mizan (e-Journal) is a scientific periodical journal published by Lembaga Penelitian dan Pengabdian Kepada Masyarakat IAIN Sultan Amai Gorontalo, Indonesia. The journal emphasizes aspects related to Islamic law studies, sharia, Islamic jurisprudence (fiqh) and law studies with various approaches of normative, philosophy, history, sociology, anthropology, theology, psychology, economic and is intended to communicate the original researches and current issues on the subject. The subject covers textual and fieldwork studies. Al-Mizan (e-Journal) is peer-reviewed. It was originally published once a year, but in 2017 it was published twice a year (June and December). This journal has a print edition ISSN: 1907-0985 and an online edition e-ISSN: 2442-8256.

    Al-Mizan (e-Journal) has been accredited by National Journal Accreditation (ARJUNA) managed by the Ministry of Research, Technology, and Higher Education of the Republic Indonesia with Four Grades (Sinta 4) from  2018 to 2022 according to the decree No. 36/E/KPT/2019.

    Welcome to Farabi Journal

    Farabi (e-Journal) (ISSN 1907-0993; E-ISSN: 2442-8264) is an academic journal published by the LPPM, IAIN Sultan Amai Gorontalo, INDONESIA. Farabi (e-Journal) is an academic journal published twice a year (every six months, ie Juni and December). Farabi Journal had been indexed by SINTA DOAJ, GOOGLE SCHOLAR, MORAREF, and IPI. This journal focuses on Ushuluddin and Islamic Thought.

    It dedicates as public space to develop and promote Islamic thought, idea, and philosophy based on the original research and current issues, such as the following but not limited to these specific issues;

    • Living Qur'an and Living Hadith: Quranic/Hadith daily lives practiced by the certain Muslim community,
    • Islam and local wisdom: relation of Islam and culture, the practice of Islamic teaching in the Muslim community, and other local culture practiced by the certain Muslim community
    • Islam and Politic: Islamic radicalism, Islamic activism/movement, state and religion relation, and the dynamic of Islamic political party
    • Inter-religious dialogue: interaction and relation between Muslim and non-Muslim community in the daily lives, religious harmony, and policy about the religious relation in certain communities or countries
    • Islamic Philosophy: the Muslim philosopher thought which is contextualizing with the current Muslim community life; and
    • Other issues which are socially, culturally, and politically correlate to the Islamic and Muslim community development.

    Al-Minhaj Jurnal Pendidikan Islam adalah jurnal ilmiah yang diterbitkan oleh Prodi Manajemen Pendidikan Islam Pascasarjana Institut Agama Islam Negeri (IAIN) Sultan Amai Gorontalo yang mempublikasikan tulisan ilmiah dosen, guru, mahasiswa dan peneliti.

  • Jurnal Ilmiah AL-Jauhari: Jurnal Studi Islam dan Interdisipliner

    AL-Jauhari Scientific Journal is a journal of Islamic Studies and Interdisciplinary journals that disseminate and publish scholarly scientific writings from both the Sultan Amai State Islamic Institute Gorontalo (IAIN) and other universities at the national and international levels. Islamic studies, such as the fields of Islamic Education, Al-Quran and Hadith, Islamic Thoughts, Fiqh and Islamic Law, Islamic History and Civilization, Modernity, Language, Islamic Literature, and Islamic Communication. For this reason, the journal is expected to contribute constructively and comprehensively to the enlightenment of Islamic knowledge. This journal is published in two editions every year, in April and October.

    AL-Jauhari scientific journals invite scholars from all backgrounds related to Islamic studies to publish their articles. Articles received in the al-Jauhari Journal are not limited to research reports but also conceptual ideas and book reviews. Manuscript sent can be written in English or Arabic. A small number of very well-written articles in Indonesia can also be received and published.

    PEKERTI: Journal Pendidikan Agama Islam dan Budi Pekerti publishes articles on the realm of Islamic education, covering both literary and fieldwork studies. The journal highlights aspects related to Islamic education studies, with special reference to character education, Islamic education policy, philosophy of Islamic education, Islamic education management, Islamic education curriculum, innovations in Islamic education, Islamic education leadership, multicultural Islamic education, Islamic education for social transformation, madrasa education, pesantren education, and other relevant topics.     Madani: Jurnal Pengabdian Ilmiah is a scientific publication available to the public, overseen and released by the Institute for Research and Community Service (LP2M) at IAIN Sultan Amai Gorontalo. This journal presents findings from research-driven community initiatives focusing on themes like enhancing communities or specific professional groups, strengthening families, advancing schools/madrasahs, implementing suitable technology, promoting sustainable education, and providing training.
