This study aims to analyze the synergy between Islamic boarding schools (pesantren) and madrasahs in improving students’ Arabic language proficiency at MTs Al-Anwar Cangkringrandu Jombang. The research employed a descriptive qualitative approach with a field research design. Data were collected through observation, documentation, and direct field engagement conducted during the Teaching Practice Program (Praktik Pengalaman Lapangan), encompassing classroom learning activities, Arabic language environment practices in the pesantren, and institutional documents. The findings reveal that the synergy between pesantren and madrasah is manifested in four main aspects: (1) the implementation of an integrative curriculum that internalizes Arabic language instruction across academic and religious subjects; (2) the application of complementary teaching methods, including talaqqi, muhadatsah, and halaqah in the pesantren, alongside grammar-translation and communicative methods in the madrasah; (3) the establishment of an active Arabic language environment supported by internal pesantren institutions; and (4) institutional collaboration between madrasah teachers and pesantren caregivers in learning planning and student mentoring. These findings indicate that the synergy between pesantren and madrasah contributes positively to the improvement of students’ Arabic language proficiency
