1. Journal Ownership
AL-ULUM is published by LP2M, State Islamic Institute (IAIN) Sultan Amai Gorontalo, Indonesia.  Its publication activities are supported by the institutional environment of IAIN Sultan Amai Gorontalo.

2. Journal Management
The journal is managed by an editorial team responsible for coordinating manuscript submission, initial editorial screening, peer review, editorial decision-making, publication preparation, and communication with authors and reviewers. The editorial team strives to ensure that every manuscript is assessed in accordance with the journal's focus and scope, academic quality, methodological rigor, originality, and publication ethics requirements. 

3. Editorial Independence
Editorial decisions are grounded in the scholarly merit of submitted manuscripts, their relevance to the journal's scope, reviewers' evaluations, and adherence to publication ethics standards. The journal is committed to maintaining fair, transparent, and consistent editorial practices. Editorial decisions must remain free from undue personal, institutional, or commercial influence.

This journal uses Open Journal Systems 3.01, which is open access.
