Abstract

This article aims to systematically review research findings related to the development and implementation of inquiry-based digital flipbook media in junior high school science and physics learning. The method employed is a literature review by collecting national journal articles accredited by SINTA levels 1–3 that are relevant to flipbook media, e-modules, and inquiry-based learning. The reviewed studies consist of research and development (R&D) and quasi-experimental research, which were analyzed descriptively. In general, the hypotheses proposed in these studies suggest that inquiry-based flipbook media can improve students’ learning outcomes and learning interest. The review results indicate that most studies report flipbook media as valid, practical, and effective, with improvements in learning outcomes ranging from moderate to high categories. This review contributes to strengthening the theoretical foundation for the use of inquiry-based flipbooks as innovative learning media and emphasizes the importance of integrating technology and inquiry approaches to improve the quality of science and physics learning at the junior high school level
