This research is motivated by the low level of career planning of students at SMP Negeri 37 Makassar, where 62% of students are in the category of confusion in determining career choices, 24% lack confidence, and only 14% have clear career goals. This condition indicates that career guidance services in schools are not optimal and still focus on providing information without exploratory guidance. This study aims to develop a career wellbeing guidance module that is effective in improving student career planning. The study used the Research and Development (R&D) method with the Borg and Gall model which includes initial research and information collection, development understanding, product form development, product revision phase I, small group field trials, product revision phase II, and the final product. The research subjects were 50 grade IX students, with data collection techniques in the form of questionnaires, interviews, observations, and pre-tests and post-tests. The results showed that the module has a very high level of validity with scores from material experts of 87.5% and 90%, and media experts of 90%. The practicality test results showed a significant increase in students' average score from 56.9 (pre-test) to 86.7 (post-test) with a difference of 29.8 points. The distribution of post-test results showed that 40% of students were in the very good category, 58% were in the good category, and only 2% were in the fair category. The module's practicality level was also high with a score of 97.6/120 and an observation percentage of 82.5%. The conclusion of this study indicates that the career wellbeing guidance module is valid and practical in improving students' career planning. It is recommended that guidance counselors use this module continuously, schools support its implementation, and further research develops technology-based modules for wider reach.
