The transformation of technology-based education has become essential in improving learning quality in the digital era, including through the Smart School policy in South Sulawesi Province. This study aims to describe the implementation of Smart School at SMAN 12 Makassar and to identify its supporting and inhibiting factors. The research employed a qualitative approach with a descriptive design. Data were collected through observation, interviews, and documentation involving the principal, Smart School coordinator, and teachers. Data analysis was conducted through data reduction, data display, and conclusion drawing. The findings reveal that the implementation of Smart School has been carried out through communication, resources, disposition, and bureaucratic structure in a relatively coordinated manner. The program positively impacts learning interactivity, accessibility of learning materials, and the use of technology in teaching processes. Supporting factors include school policy, infrastructure availability, teacher competence, and openness to innovation, while inhibiting factors include internet network issues and technical constraints. This study contributes to the study of digitally based educational policy implementation at the school level. The findings highlight the importance of strengthening infrastructure and implementation management for program sustainability.
