Development of a Deep Learning- Based Guidance and Counseling Model for Fostering Students’ Character at State Senior High School 4 in Metro City

This study aimed to develop a Deep Learning-based guidance and counseling model to strengthen students’ character at State Senior High School 4 in Metro City. Using a Research and Development (R&D) approach with the ADDIE model, the study involved three experts and eight school counselors. Data were collected through feasibility and practicality questionnaires and analyzed descriptively. The results showed that the model was highly feasible, achieving an average expert validation score of 87.7%. The developed product included annual and semester guidance programs, lesson plans, and a manual based on meaningful, mindful, and joyful learning principles. Pilot implementation improved counselors’ understanding of Deep Learning from 56% to 87%, program design skills from 61% to 89%, and character development skills from 60% to 88%. The practicality score reached 91%, indicating the model is feasible and effective for strengthening students’ character.
