Abstrak

This article focuses on the exploration of the values of education in the story of the Prophet Moses and the Prophet Khidir in Surah Al-Kahf verses 60–82 and their relevance to modern Islamic education. This research aims to analyze the pedagogical principles and educational values contained in the story. The research uses a qualitative approach with a literature study method. The data is sourced from the Qur'an, Tafsir Ibn Kathir, Tafsir Al-Misbah, and relevant Islamic educational literature, then analyzed through content and thematic analysis. The results of the study show that the story contains the principles of manners, patience, humility, direct experience, dialogue, reflection, critical thinking, spirituality, and wisdom. These values are relevant to strengthening character, academic manners, reflective learning, problem-based, and internalization of wisdom in modern Islamic education.
