About the Journal

Al-Lisan: Jurnal Bahasa (e-Journal) is a biannual academic peer-reviewed publication that encompasses research in English and Arabic Language Education, Literature, and Linguistics. It is issued in February and August by LP2M IAIN Sultan Amai Gorontalo. The journal, initially established in 2011 under the name Pioneer Journal, was later renamed Al-Lisan: Jurnal Bahasa (e-Journal) in 2015. The Journal has already registered numbers ISSN 2442-8965 (print) and ISSN 2442-8973 (online). Al-Lisan: Jurnal Bahasa has been accredited Rank 2 (Sinta 2) by the Ministry of Higher Education, Science and Technology, the Republic of Indonesia, through the Decree of the Director-General of Higher Education, Research, and Technology No. 355/DST/D.D1/HM.01.01/2026, dated July 28, 2026. This accreditation is valid until the February 2030 edition.
