Developing English Teaching Materials through Self-Vlogging Based on Speaking at Tertiary Level

Abstrak
Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengembangkan bahan ajar Bahasa Inggris berbasis Self-Vlogging untuk mata kuliah speaking dan untuk melihat persepsi mahasiswa terhadap produk penelitian tersebut secara umum serta dari segi kualitasnya. Sample penelitian ini adalah mahasiswa semester 3 dari prodi Pendidikan Bahasa Inggris, Fakultas Keguruan dan Ilmu Pendidikan, Universitas Sulawesi Barat. Peneliti menggunakan metode Penelitian Pengembangan sebagai metode penelitian dengan model pengembangan yaitu model 4D (Define, Deign, Develop, Disseminate) yang disederhanakan menjadi model 3D (Define, Design, Develop). Teknik sampling yang digunakan adalah Probability Sampling yaitu Simple Random Sampling. Instrumen penelitian ini adalah kuisioner yang digunakan untuk menilai produk penelitian pada lembar validasi produk penelitian dan juga dipakai untuk mengetahui persepsi mehasiswa terhadap produk penelitian. Hasil penelitian ini yaitu (1) ditunjukkan dengan kesimpulan akhir yang diberikan oleh para ahli sebagai validator produk penelitian yaitu bahwa ahli media menyimpulkan produk penelitian memenuhi syarat untuk digunakan dalam proes pembelajaran setelah revisi dan ahli materi menyimpulkan produk penelitian memenuhi syarat untuk digunakan dalam proses pembelajaran tanpa revisi, (2) ditunjukkan oleh persentase hasil perhitungan dari kuisioner yang diisi oleh mahasiswa sesuai dengan persepsi mereka terhadap produk penelitian yang ditemukan bahwa setiap pernyataan memiliki persentase 100%. Sehingga dapat dinyatakan bahwa bahan ajar berbasis Self-Vlogging untuk mata kuliah speaking layak digunakan dalam proses pembelajaran speaking
